I finally got my last shipment of textbooks today. I have too many books. Or, since most of you will point out that there’s no such thing as too many books, I alternatively have too few bookshelves:

In other news, when I went home for semester break, I helped my dad take the third row seat out of his new Chevy Suburban. Then came the question of what to do with it. While my parents made the entirely sensible decision to store it, I had always felt that car seats would make for inexpensive albeit effective furniture in the house. As we no longer have a couch, I fashioned one out of the third row seat. As you can see below, the results were less than optimal:

Christmas!

Well, I got some cool stuff for the holidays (and it’s just now all come in). Shown below:

The Ultimate Matrix Collection, the Star Wars Trilogy, Knights of the Old Republic, Dilbert calendars, a US Bank gift card, and Dr. Strangelove.

It’s going to happen anyway, so I might as well announce it officially just to maintain the illusion that I do control my life: I am hereby devoting myself entirely to the completion of “Knights of the Old Republic”.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, I also got “Anarchy, State, and Utopia”, but forgot to put it in the picture. Sorry.
