On February 22, 2005, I announced my candidacy for World Global Dictator. I am running on a platform of fiscal conservatism, a sensible health care policy, and an unyielding will to crush all who would oppose me.Why am I running? I am running because Philocracy is the best form of government. Under Philocracy, the entire power of the state is vested in Phil, who can be trusted to use it in a fully ethical fashion. Corporate white collar criminals will be forced to pay full restitution to their victims, marijuana will be legalized, and the post office will be privatized.Of course, the ideal Philocracy cannot be built in a day; it can only arise through a system of reforms. But to begin those reforms, you, the people of the world, must ELECT PHIL WELCH WORLD GLOBAL DICTATOR.
